PII Overview

The PII (Personal Identification Information) model is used to extract or redact personal identifiable information from documents.

With the Extract endpoint, pull values and bounding boxes of PII values throughout a document without pre-training.

With the Redact endpoint, redact PII data from a document without pre-training.

Input and Output for the API

Documents may be uploaded using an input URL, a base64 encoded string, or a multi-part form.

Output is in the form of a JSON file.
